This is a monumental Grenache. It exhibits a medium brick red color and a seductive, ethereal nose of fraises de bois, cranberry, red currant, crushed rose petals, tobacco leaf, orange peel, exotic oriental incense. The flavors are medium bodied but deliciously mouth encompassing with elegant red fruits that are interwoven with licorice, cocoa powder, cobblestone and silt minerals. The back reveals gently pressed fruits, toasted nuts, recurring orange peel, fraise and cassis liqueurs and soft charcoal, followed by a ultra-long supple tannin finish marked by precise acidity. Shows precise finesse throughout. - Rand Sealey 20/20 points.
