Deep ruby-crimson colored, this ninth vintage emits enticing aromas of wild fruits – strawberries, blueberries, black currants – with scents of black roses, pipe tobacco, lavender, violets and spiced incense. The pure varietal flavors are infused with licorice, cocoa powder, French roast and cobblestone and loam minerals. The back reveals pressed berries, roasted hazelnuts, crème de cassis, blueberry preserves, suede leather, light oak (20% new French) and ground charcoal, followed by a long, long, juicy ripe tannin finish. Shows varietal purity throughout which gives it 19.5/20 points (Rand Sealey, Review of Washington Wines).

We call our club members Rotiesians, which is the same thing we call ourselves. Our total production is small, and our support in the Washington wine loving community is large, so the wine club is the best opportunity to ensure access to new releases before they sell out.
